Abby Fichtner

helps people build amazing technology and push the edge on what’s possible.

Named an Innovation Amplifier by the Boston Globe, a Shaper of Boston’s Tech Scene by Mashable, Boston’s Startup Guardian Angel, and one of the Top 25 Women in Boston Tech.

I’ve been Hacker in Residence for Harvard Innovation Lab, Creator of Hack Boston, advisor for the SXSW Accelerator and launcher of Boston’s Big Data Hacker Space.

My joy is working with hackers and entrepreneurs who are building things no one else believes is possible. I’ve worked with hundreds of startups and have taught workshops for MIT, Harvard and TechStars (to name a few). I even spent a couple of really fun years as Microsoft’s Evangelist for Startups.

A software developer by trade, my roots are a mixture of developing bleeding-edge technology for startups and coaching teams on how to develop software better.

I’m extremely passionate about building communities where innovation thrives because I believe that each and every one of us is capable of changing the world.
